At HM Rehab Basics, we are dedicated to providing flexible physiotherapy options to suit your needs. We offer in-clinic treatments, hydrotherapy, and home visits in selected areas. Additionally, we can visit clients in nursing homes and residential facilities.
Our clinics are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and we aim to schedule your appointment within five working days.
Treatment costs vary depending on factors such as the type of physiotherapy, treatment, clinician, and session length. Home visits incur an additional travel cost. Please contact us for specific pricing details.
Initial Appointment Process
To begin your treatment at HM Rehab Basics, we start with an in-depth telephone consultation. This step allows our personnel to gather vital information, such as your medical history and/or any current medications, to ensure your safety and identify any necessary precautions before your in-person assessment.
During this phone call, we will also discuss any challenges you’re facing within your home environment. Based on your needs, the physiotherapist may provide immediate advice or suggest a referral to additional professionals, such as an Occupational Therapist (OT), for further support.
Following the telephone consultation, we schedule a comprehensive in-person assessment either at our clinic or in the comfort of your home. The assessment will focus on your movement, strength, posture, sensation, and balance. To ensure comfort during the evaluation, we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing.
Once the assessment is complete, your physiotherapist will share their findings with you and collaborate on creating a personalised treatment plan. This is also your chance to ask any questions or express concerns before moving forward with your care.
As part of our comprehensive services, we accept NHS referrals for both physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions. Referrals are made under the “Referral for Specialist Care” program, where a GP, Consultant, or Specialist Nurse can refer patients to us for advanced treatment interventions, including Shock Wave Therapy, Exo-Skeleton Suit, Hydrotherapy, and Functional Electrical Stimulation.
